Is your jar full?
What am I grateful for today? What are all the numerous reasons for which I should not complain, moan, depreme myself or indulge in self-pity, but rather rejoice, praise and smile courageously? If you stop for a moment and think, I am sure you will also find several reasons for being grateful.
In the month of November, every evening, together with my family I write one item - person, thing, mood, element, richness - on a piece of paper and throw it into the thankfulness jar. Tonight, at Thanksgiving dinner, we will read the list out load and celebrate all the wonderful things in our lives. Family, health, school, work, friends, hobbies, our home, the nature, toys... the list could go on forever. It is a great exercise and really makes you think positively and appreciate what you have.
Happy thanksgiving to all those that celebrate it.
